WHERE ARE THE TAX FORMS?

Due to federal budget cuts, the IRS will only send us 1040,

1040 A, and 1040EZ forms for the 2014 tax year.  We will not receive instruction booklets or schedules.  This change is not by our choice, but is due to government policy. 

What can you do?

1.    Print out forms and instruction books here.  The cost is $.05 per page.  See a staff member for help with this option.

2.    Have forms and instruction books mailed to your home by calling  1-800-829-3676 or by going to www.IRS.gov/orderforms.

3.    View and download forms at www.IRS.gov/forms.

Vita Tax Prep

Call in for Vita Tax Prep appointments will begin Thursday, January 29th at 10 am.  Please note--no appointments will be made before this time.

If a person’s tax prep cannot be completed in the allotted time—he/she will be asked to leave his/her information and it will be completed during the week.   It will be returned on the following Saturday.  They expect this to be the norm—not the exception.

NO OTHER DROP OFF TAX PREP WILL BE AVAILABLE.

Only those who have an appointment scheduled will be able to have their taxes completed by Vita.
